Just one more subject to go before I can finally test my creativity on Gundams. Sorry to my friends out there if I can't come with y'all, I'm just too excited to be alone with my Gundams and computer games. LOL.

What a random conversation we had

Just now we were talking about our delayed allowances. It's weird for not talking about expenses when we're talking about money right? So yeah, I was pulling Anis's leg by predicting that he is going to buy off new clothes once he get his allowances. But before that, I was saying that I might reduce my expenditure this time around since I'm not really into anything, yet, except for some tools for my modeling project and a decent stereo for my desktop. Without even thinking of other people's feeling,

Me.Anis.E.The oil-dude.

You're going to buy new clothes right?
Yes.
What a waste of money. I wear the same thing over and over again and there's nothing wrong with it. Why do you want to buy new clothes?
Why?! If it's really a waste of money, people wouldn't do it you know. Think about the demand from consumers, if there weren't any, companies wouldn't bother coming out with new designs every month! (backing Anis's back)
Yes but that's because there are people like him, that's why new clothes are designed. Just like you, it's because of you, new Gundam models are sold.
Owh, that is so not true. They actually sell new models when the new television series comes out. In fact they actually sell each models that's in the series in various grades okay. Besides, the demand for Gundams is already huge, before an insignificant market enforcer like me came into the market, so it's not because of me. Then what do you do with your money? Save it? That's even worse, you're not contributing to the economy. Saving is a leakage. (referring to hardcore savers okay)
I don't agree with you. I save up my money. In fact, I'm actually investing my money and I could gain more money out of it.
Oh yea, but until when? I understand that there are some people like you who prefer to save up money but then what you're going to do with that money plus interests? I know! You're going to invest all those money and create more money out of it! and that's even worst. You're investing money for your own good, not for others welfare.
What do you mean worst...
I don't know but there are some people who are like that. Besides if you save up too much, by the time you get your interests, the value of our currency has already appreciated due to inflation. As a result you're actually having less money than what you can actually spend.
No no, there's a lot of funding out there where you can gain more interests for example mutual fund.
(I'm too lazy to bring in some Islamic regulations regarding 'interests', I'm sure they all know about this)
But yes, it's better off to have 'depreciated' money that none. Hmm. I don't know. Some people just love to see the amount of money they have through the ATM screen. But people who are willing to enjoy life more than collecting money would consume what they desire and what's good for them to a certain limit, rather than saving up.
No, I would might consider buying golds. The price of golds goes up with money. It's another type of investment.
Yes, it's just like you're buying a house. The price also shoots up. But that's what I'm saying. Money minded people buy things that would give them more that what they pay for in the future. You're not enjoying life.
I save up to buy something that could be important for me to buy like a house, in the near future.
(A guy who's not investing and just doesn't understand what do I mean by the value of money decreases over time due to inflation)
I use a quarter of my savings to run up my business okay! That's the benefit of saving you see.
There's a difference between people who save up money to buy something in the future, and a person who invests money to invest more in the future. As in your case, just now you were talking like you're the second type of person.
....
It's nothing much a difference compared to me. For the last couple of months or probably a year, I've been saving up money and now I'm using it to ENJOY my life after IB, it's just the matter of what we spend on.

Correct me if there's some economic error in it. haha.
Trust me, the moment you're doing IB, you wouldn't talk crap with your friends anymore. Every conversations has its own value and knowledge.
